Colombia has been producing a good portion of the worlds Arabica Gourmet Coffee for many years. This gourmet coffee is produced by multiple small family farms high in the lush mountains in the southern region of Colombia in South America. Huila farmers care for their crops meticulously and sell through a coop exchange to receive a fair price. This region of the country still grows the old, traditional coffee variety Typica instead of the newer hybrids. The yields are a little less but the quality in the cup is what we are after. A wonderful medium body coffee with a fruit like aroma and a tasty sweet finish.
